KENNER FOUNDATION – MOLLIE CARTMELL COMMUNITY ACTIVISM AWARD
This award is donated by the Kenner Foundation in honour of Mollie Cartmell, whose tireless volunteer efforts have greatly benefited the Kenner Community and the City of Peterborough. This award is presented to a student who has volunteered both in the school and in the community.
KENNER FOUNDATION - C.T. FERGUSON AWARD
This award is presented to a deserving, graduating student who has shown improvement, keen business interest and entrepreneurial spirit.
KENNER FOUNDATION ANN GREER-WOOTTEN ENGLISH AWARD
This award is presented to a well-rounded, graduating student who is pursuing studies or employment in literature, journalism or English.
KENNER FOUNDATION HOPE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ARTS
This award is donated by Hall of Honour members Verne Hope and David Kaye and is presented to a graduating student who is going on to college or university in the field of Film, Cinematography, Radio or Broadcast Journalism, Graphic Design or in Video Game development.
KENNER FOUNDATION - GRANT LARMER AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating student who has demonstrated a proficiency in sales and marketing through school/work experience. To be eligible the student must be attending a post-secondary education institution.
KENNER FOUNDATION - LLOYD CARR-HARRIS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
This award is presented to graduating students in drama, music and visual arts who are continuing on to post-secondary education in either Arts and/or Humanities at College or University.
KENNER FOUNDATION - MADAME MORRISON AWARD
This award is presented to a student who has excelled in French.
KENNER FOUNDATION - ARNOLD AND DORIS NOFTALL AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating student of the IB Diploma Programme who has demonstrated a keen interest in education for the betterment of students and/or communities. This award was established in memory of Mr. Arnold Noftall, first Vice-Principal of Kenner Collegiate.
KENNER FOUNDATION - A.J. NOFTALL CREATIVITY AWARD
This award is presented to a student with creative talent. The award was established through the generosity of A.J. Noftall, first Vice-Principal of K.C.V.I.
KENNER FOUNDATION - ELDON P. RAY AWARD
This scholarship is awarded to the graduating student who achieves the highest average of six pre-University credits. To be eligible, the student must be attending a post-secondary educational institution.
KENNER FOUNDATION - RUTH REXE MEMORIAL AWARD
This award is presented to the female graduate who has demonstrated outstanding
personal achievement in school athletics, has shown leadership and has maintained good academic standing. This award is to encourage and reward achievement in athletics at K.C.V.I.
KENNER FOUNDATION - HILDA AND ALBERT READ AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating, deserving student of high academic standing who is enrolled in a post-secondary institution. This award is donated by Robin, Irene and Colin Read.
KENNER FOUNDATION – PAUL REXE LEGACY AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating university-bound student who shows intellectual promise, leadership skills, enthusiasm for debate, engagement with political ideas, is energetic and has a sense of humour.
KENNER FOUNDATION - MARY E. ROGERS AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating student who has shown successful achievement and school spirit in an appropriate educational programme.
KENNER FOUNDATION - ARTHUR JAMES SMITH TRUST AWARD
This award is presented to a deserving graduating student who has shown the most improvement, keenest business interest and entrepreneurial spirit.
KENNER FOUNDATION – ST. GEORGES ANGLICAN CHURCH HUMANITARIAN AWARD
This award was established to honour two deserving, graduating, students with strong spiritual awareness, and who are enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
KENNER FOUNDATION - JOHN TAYLOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This award is to be dedicated to a student exhibiting commitment to community activism throughout his/her years at Kenner.
KENNER FOUNDATION - TECHNICAL AWARD
This award is presented to the student with the highest average in eight technical courses.
KENNER FOUNDATION - UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
This award is presented to a deserving, graduating student, who, in the opinion of the donor and staff, is believed to be successful in his/her field of study upon completion of his/her university degree.
KENNER FOUNDATION - DOUGLAS VAISEY HISTORY AWARD
This award is presented to a graduating student who has shown academic proficiency in a senior History course. The award is presented to a student going on to post secondary education.
KENNER FOUNDATION VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award is donated by Don and Lesley Parnell, two recent Hall of Honour members, and is presented to a student who volunteered in school, helping teachers and peers.
KENNER FOUNDATION – THE WHITFIELD AWARD
This award is presented to the student, who attended Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute each year from grade nine to graduation. This student is in the opinion of the Principal and staff, most deserving because of an increased interest and improved attitude toward learning with resulting increased proficiency during his or her years at Kenner and who is enrolled in an institute of higher learning.
KENNER FOUNDATION - PETER WHITE AWARD
This award is presented to the top graduating student with the highest combined average in two or more pre-university level mathematics courses.
